Dear compatriots,

The latest geopolitical developments and the situation in Armenia and Artsakh have revealed the strong need for the interaction of all the patriotic forces of Armenia, the Diaspora and the friends of our nation in order to unite and stop the destructive processes, which are happening in our Motherland, to form a united roadmap in order to develop Armenia and Artsakh, taking into account modern global challenges and trends.

The problems and the disturbing occurences that have been accumulating in our country and in the society since Armenia gained independence in 1991, and without receiving any solutions, passed from one president to another one, have led to a deep crisis- economical, social, political, intellectual, cultural, spiritual, educational. The crisis revealed its new facets after the change of the power as a result of the so-called “Velvet Revolution” in 2018.

The moral and psychological state of our society, which considers momentary needs more important than the faithful challenges that are standing in front Armenia and Artsakh, put into the background such issues as maintaining statehood, ensuring the integrity of the borders and the security of our country and citizens, determining the independent status of Artsakh, building a modern defense-capable army and an efficient economy, building effective foreign policy ties and systematic relations with the Diaspora.

Armenia has come to a “bifurcation point”, when the fate of the country and nation depends on every Armenian- regardless of his place of living and social status. It is no longer possible to shift the responsibility for what is happening today and what will happen tomorrow with Armenia and Artsakh- and thus, with Armenians. It’s not just ineffective government’s or the fragmented and, therefore ineffective opposition’s fault. All of us and each of us are responsible for what is happening now.

Unfortunately, neither the opposition, nor the government has a clear goal, line, understanding of the global and regional processes, the role of Armenia in the new world order. We don’t see their concrete program of the country’s development and, moreover, mechanisms for its realization.

Working on it in recent years, we formed a modern pan-Armenian platform called “Araratian Alliance” Institute of the strategical development of Armenia and Artsakh (“Araratian Alliance” institute).

A roadmap project developed by us for various directions for the development of Armenia and Artsakh is published on the “Araratian Alliance” website so that everyone who is interested could have an opportunity to study it and to send proposals and ideas to the org. committee. They will be systematized and will be presented for the discussion for each sphere during “Araratian Alliance” forum. It is scheduled for this autumn. The program summarized at the Forum, before receiving the status of the National Roadmap for the Preservation and Development of Armenia and Artsakh, will undergo an expert assessment in each area by internationally recognized world-class specialists in this field. I call on everyone who cares about his children’s, family’s and our Motherland’s fate: representatives of the government, business, science, sports , culture and intellectuals: don’t remain indifferent, join “Araratian Alliance”, and together we will ensure that Armenia won’t go along the path of spreading lies and impoverishment, emigration and devastation of the country, which lead to the erosion of the statehood. We will ensure that Armenia takes a course towards building a systematic secure state with a competitive economy, where every citizen has its rightful place.

Today every Armenian, every one of us who continues to love and believe in Armenia has to do everything he can for his Motherland. I especially call on wealthy and established Armenians. We’ve already paid dearly for the silence and opportunism of the business elites and the intellectuals, who don’t understand or pretend that they don’t understand what is going on, and what we’ve lost and are losing.

It's that time to openly state our position and to unite and create conditions for revealing the political and economical opportunities of the country and its diplomatic revenge by using resultative methods of the international cooperation and mechanisms of interaction with the Diaspora.

By uniting around the “Araratian Alliance”, where not only expert, social-political and scientific-technological potential has been invested, but also my personal experience of many years of cooperation and ties with heads of states and international organizations, heads of backbone corporations and structures, public leaders, we will have the ability to recognize ourselves as a united society and we must win, using this real historical chance.

At the same time, if there are forces and individuals, who think that they are able to cope with the set-tasks more effectively, we are ready to give them our experience and the accumulated potential of the “Araratian Alliance “. We are also ready to view other existing projects of the national development with well-thought-out mechanisms of their implementations: if there are any, and why not- we can join them. For saving our Motherland and our identity. For the return and revival of the national dignity and our values.

We are waiting for your feedback and suggestions. We are looking forward to your active participation in forming united pan-national roadmap for the preservation and development of our Motherland- Armenia and Artsakh.
